Why we should pay more attention to Teeth Cavity:
A teeth cavity, also known as dental caries or tooth decay, is a common oral health problem. It occurs when bacteria in the mouth produce acids that erode the enamel, which is the hard outer layer of the teeth. The process starts with the formation of plaque, a sticky film of bacteria that adheres to the teeth. When sugars or carbohydrates in the diet are consumed, the bacteria in plaque produce acids that attack the enamel.
Over time, if this process continues, the enamel can break down, leading to the formation of a cavity or hole in the tooth. Cavities can vary in size and severity. In the early stages, they may be small and go unnoticed, but as they progress, they can cause pain and discomfort.
